First time here and what a great stay, I used to go to the Hovell Tree Inn and just had a terrible room there last time with an crap room with an old tv and the price was crazy for what I expected. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this glammed up old school motel. Our room was faultlessly clean, spacious and well equipped. We loved the location, within easy walking distance to the centre of town for cafes/restaurants and to the river trail and parkland. Highly recommend.  The position of this motel is excellent,  Reception (I presume was the owner) most courteous and friendly. Great place to rest between Sydney and Melbourne. The staff were very friendly and actually gave a dawn.
